What is Camden Behavioral Wellness
What is CBW? Camden Behavioral Wellness, Inc. is a 501 c3 nonprofit agency made up of volunteer board members who are concerned about the unmet behavioral healthcare needs of the citizens of Camden County, Georgia. CBW is an organization that provides behavioral healthcare services to all those in need, including those that are uninsured.
Our Goals
Fulfill the Need of a Psychiatrist
Camden County currently has limited availability to see a psychiatrist in a timely manner. We have been and are currently working to form community partnerships and obtain funding to provide a full time Community Psychiatrist that would work in multiple locations and provide care to the under-insured and uninsured.
Identify Gaps in the Mental Healthcare Needs of Camden County
Our secondary goal is to partner with specific agencies in the community in regards to identifying gaps that need to be addressed in the area of mental/behavioral health.
